From her own abortion to being a teen mom to now leading a maternity home and high school for teen moms, Brittany has experienced the wonder working power of the gospel of Jesus.
This is a conversation of God using one woman's story of pain to be a light for girls at the end of their rope, pregnant in their teenage years, and in search of refuge and hope. Caring for women on the margins and walking alongside them as they choose life has the power to change generations. That's the mission of Brittany and the ministry she leads: to heal, rise, and overcome through Jesus.

On this week's episode, Kyla Gillespie shares her story of living most of her life with gender dysphoria, same sex attraction, and living as a transgender man for 6 years before surrendering her life to Jesus which led to her detransitioning back to her God given identity as a woman.
Her story is one of deep hurt and searching, beautiful and sacrificial discipleship, a journey to wholeness in Jesus, and a hard look at what's at risk in our confused and broken world when it comes to identity.
This conversation will leave you wanting to know more of her story of Jesus capturing her heart which you can find in her new book, TransFormed: The Power of God's Word and God's People in One Woman's Journey through Gender Confusion, Reassignment Surgery, and Detransitioning

How is it with your soul? Are you dragging on empty trying to hold it all together or are you living a full and flourishing life plugged into the power source that is Jesus?
On this episode, we look at the life of Moses - who lived on adventure with God, spending time with Him, and going after all the things He was called to. And how that adventure is available to us.
Ali shares her personal journey with discovering the power of the presence of God through practicing silence and solitude.
Do you know the God that knows you?

Come get a peak into our 36 hours inside the largest women's prison in the country. We saw God move in a tangible way and can't keep it in!!
Revival is amongst us in correctional facilities across this country. Light is pushing back darkness, chains are being broken, and hope is being realized.
This is a special bonus episode from The Neighborhood (our Patreon community) where Ali shares life change stories from the Church of Eleven22 Women's Encounter in Lowell Correctional.
These women are a testimony of the power of the gospel in a broken and hurting world and our hope is that it sets you on fire to share the transforming truth of the gospel wherever God calls you!

On this week's episode of Neighbors, Matt Chandler sits down with Ali to talk about the long, but worthwhile road of a life following Jesus. We unpack endurance vs resilience and how we can choose to sharpen those muscles. We talk about what gets a believer through the hard seasons while staying faithful. Matt unpacks his own journey of becoming like Jesus and the power of staying through the hard.
The Christian life and is both "beautiful and brutal" and Matt helps to give believers handles to live and thrive hand and hand with Jesus. He covers this journey through the lens of the Beatitudes in his newest book, Becoming Like Jesus: The Everyday Journey to Living a Life of Holiness. Grab your copy anywhere books are sold.

This week, Ali got to sit down with contemporary Christian music artist, author, and songwriter Tasha Layton. Tasha's story and life experience (including touring as Katy Perry's backup vocalist for 4 years) has led her to write and sing and minister from a place of authenticity and openness.
Her candid spirit is refreshing and inspiring as she constantly challenges herself and others to ask what God has for us in this season. We talk all about her story coming up in the Christian music space, going to hard places in order to meet God, and the point of it all: to point our lives to Jesus.
To follow along with all of Tasha's upcoming projects, find her on Instagram @tashalayton

Do you know the magnitude of God's love for you? Do you know the lengths that He goes to win our hearts? We serve a God who is in constant pursuit of us and yet we slip into arm's length living with God all the time.
This conversation with Whitney Lowe, we unpack the reality of God's pursuit for us and how it has the ability to change our whole life. On the other side of this pursuit is freedom and flourishing. When we show up with our real self to a real God, it changes everything.

Theologian and author, Dr. Joel Muddamalle, has done the heavy lifting for us to unpack the reality of spiritual warfare from a Biblical viewpoint. Joel is my go-to guy for grounded, gospel-centered theological wisdom. This conversation is one of learning, curiosity, and unpacking what the Bible actually says about life on earth, life in the cosmos, and the ultimate desire for God, the Father, to reconcile His family.
You will leave this conversation feeling challenged (many times, I could not believe this stuff is in the Bible), and equipped to push back darkness and fight for the family of God.
Go get Joel's newest book, The Unseen Battle, anywhere books are found.

As we kick off our new season of Neighbors, it only felt right to talk about prayer. There is no one I'd rather chat with about prayer than Pastor Ryan Britt. He is a friend, a pastor, and someone I seek wisdom from often. His convictions and teachings on prayer have formed much of my prayer life and his thoughts in this conversations will give you a framework for the importance of prayer alongside some practicalities of a life bathed in prayer.
What is more evident than ever is we must be a praying people. If we want to see change happen in our lives, communities, and around the world, it starts with deep, rich prayer.
If you're interested in some resources we talk about (and some we don't mention, but are still great) on prayer, see below:
