We know it's been a heavy week and at the same time, we are seeing God move in a mighty way in His Church and this country. We hold onto a hope beyond what we can see knowing we serve a real and good God.

If you need a story of God’s relentless pursuit of us, despite our brokenness, this story is for you. Hunter and Alan have walked the hard road of addiction and running from God to now living a life telling people about the goodness of God’s pursuit and healing. Their vulnerability and willingness to be an “open book” in order to help others raise their hands who need help is inspiring and humbling. They challenged me to think about the parts of my life I am not surrendering and the freedom that awaits when we lay it all in front of the Lord time and time again.

If there is one woman I want to grow up and be like, it's probably Reina Cherry. You may not know her name, but her impact can be felt amongst hundreds of women that she has discipled and cared for over decades of ministry. She makes more disciples than cookies (and she makes a LOT of cookies - shout out Reina Cookies). She is fiercely devoted to a life centered around Christ and inviting other people into that life. And she is absolutely hilarious. 
She is the goal and I am honored that I got to share time with her.

This week, I sat down with Tori Hein.  She is a trauma-informed coach with Freedom Movement who wants to see all people walk in freedom through the power of Jesus Christ. She shares her story of hurt and healing and how much more alive she is by not white knuckling life any longer and surrendering it all to Jesus.

This week, I sat down with alligator trapper, marine corps veteran, MMA fighter, and founder of Project Savior Outdoors, Mike Dragich. We talk about how the fight in him turned from vengeance to justice after meeting Jesus. He inspires everyone around him to get in the fight, whatever that looks like for you. 
Project Savior Outdoors is a ministry to fight veteran and first responders suicide. We discuss the realities of suicide in those fields and how the hope of Jesus is fighting back the darkest darkness. All while hunting alligators and adventuring in creation.

54: I Have a Job for You with Chantelle Kammerdiener

I want to be Chantelle when I grow up! She is wise, confident, and sharp. AND has a heart that beats for people, particularly survivors of human trafficking. Chantelle led a successful career in business (even working for the horse, Secretariat, more on that in the convo!) and as she encountered the brokenness of human trafficking, she knew she had to join the fight. So with a couple others, she founded Arize Together - a forever community ​that is breaking the cycle of sexual exploitation. 
Hearing her talk so tenderly and proudly about the survivors in their community and why it matters that we care for the broken and the hurt is inspiring. I hope it inspires you to take the step God is calling you to take to walk out what it looks like to love Him and love people well.
